       Portrait photography is a style that pushes me out of my comfort zone. I am a wallflower and typically enjoy quietly observing the world around me as I snap photos. It challenges me to collaborate with the model to create something together.

       Rather than straightforward portraits, I enjoy combining portrait photography with my love for nature through double exposures. I love experimenting with lighting and shadows to create interesting patterns and shapes, whether on location or in the studio. My work strives to convey the model’s personality and give the viewer a sense of who they are as a person. It is exciting to me that many of my portraits are very different. Everyone has unique styles and identities and I enjoy that my work reflects that. Portraits create the opportunity to unite my personal photographic style with the personality of my model. I love that portraits offer a wide range of opportunities to be creative. From posing to editing to locations, there are endless possibilities that can come together to create something captivating.
